Welcome to The Bentley Young Persons' Trust

Alex Bentley was Lord Mayor of Portsmouth in 1994/5.  He decided to raise money to endow a trust that would help the young people of Portsmouth to fulfil their potential and achieve their dreams.

Since 1995, when the trust was officially formed, hundreds of young people have benefited from grants and assistance from the trust.  From simple things like a sewing machine to allow a dance group to make their own costumes, to sail training days and so much more.
